African Affairs Section and Superintendent of Immigration, Passport Office. In December 1993 he withdrew his services with the Nigeria Immigration Service and took up appointment with the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto as Senior Assistant Registrar and rose to the rank of Deputy Registrar. He served the University in various capacities ranging from Student Affairs Officer, University Admissions Officer, Deputy Registrar- General Administration and Council Affairs as well as Secretary, Postgraduate School. In February 2006, he applied for one year leave of absence and served as Senior Special Assistant on University matters to the then Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Alh. Mohammad Adamu Aliero. He also served as Member/Secretary on the Kebbi State University implementation Committee. After the successful completion of the Committee`s assignment, he was appointed the pioneer Registrar of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) in May 2007, the position he held until February 2013 when he was appointed as the pioneer Registrar of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi by the then President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ibrahim Mungadi has served in various Committees within and outside the University. He was Secretary to the Kebbi State Government Delegation to Saudi Arabia for 2010 Hajj Exercise. He was Chairman of the Committee that investigated allegations of corruption against the then Chairman of Maiyama Local Government Council in 2008
