ABORISADE, Olubunmi (Dr)

Aborisade Philip Olubunmi, PhD., activist, author, researcher, lecturer and a trained journalist of over a decade experience in print media is an Associate Professor and Head of Media and Communication program at Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. Before his appointment with Afe Babalola University in 2012, he taught for eight years at the State University of New York (Empire State College) and the College of New Rochelle, New York. He edited and co-published the JUNE 12 Magazine in Nigeria, also worked as a journalist with the Herald newspaper Ilorin, Daily Times of Nigeria, PLC, The Independent Newspaper, Accra Ghana, Arizona Daily Star, USA, and African American Observer, New York where he won the year 2000 awards in Profile Writing and International News Reporting of the New York Association of Black Journalists.
