Hon. Engr. Solomon Adaelu was born in January 1st, 1972 into the middle class family of Engr. and Late Mrs. Emmanuel Onyenmaobi Adaelu. He attended his Secondary Education at Ngwa High School, Abayi, Aba and obtained his SSCE/WAEC in a grand style in 1992. His love for creativity lured him into securing admission to study Chemical Engineering at the prestigious Federal University Of Technology, Owerri and graduated in the year 2001 With B.Eng chemical Engineering.
Considering his leadership ingenuity there is then, no gainsaying that this industrialist, delved into politics not for self aggrandizement but to better the lots of the citizens as evident both in the positions he held as the commissioner for Public Utility and Water resources in Abia State in the year 2009 and the feat accomplished. He was later appointed the commissioner for Rural Development between the year 2011-2013 before he was elected as a legislator in the National Assembly. During his reign as commissioner, many communities witnessed massive infrastructural development, basic social amenities provision etc, so to improve the living standard of the citizenry.
