My first working experience was between January and September, 1975 when I worked in the computer section of the Federal Surveys, when I travelled to Canada for my studies, I had the opportunity of doing vacation job in the Dept. of Energy, Mines and Natural Resources in Ottawa. I came back to the Federal Surveys Lagos in 1973 and worked in different capacities including management and administration. In 1987 I was appointed principal of the Federal School of Surveys, Oyo. t was from there that I was appointed to my the position of deputy survey-general of the federation in 1988. I consider my being the first female surveyor in Nigeria, Africa and the Commonwealth, a great feat. Not left out is my being appointed the first female president of Commission VI of the International Society for Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing from 1984to 1988

I have to my credit, well over thirteen publications & papers presented locally and internationally.
