an Executive Director of a Kano based company, the Nigatev Nigeria Limited is the Ogun State Commissioner for Industries. Mr. Akinoode was born in Igbesa, Egbado South Local Government area of Ogun State on September 24,1937 to Mr. Joshua Fatolu Akinbode and MrsElizabeth Banjoko Akinbode. He attended the All Saints' CMS School, Igbesa (1941-45), the St. Thomas' School, Badagry, January- December 1946, the Eko Boys High School, Lagos (1949-52) and the Grade 11 Teacher Training College, Shagamu, Remo (1955-58). After a brief teaching spell between 1959 and 1963, Mr. Akinbode procee ded to Britain and studied Marketing at the Chiswick Polytechnic, London W4 and West London College, London W8 between 1963 and 1970. Mr. Akinbode is an Associate of the Institute of Book-keepers and related data pressing (1966), an associate of the Corporation of Company Secre taries (1968), an associate of the Char tered Institute of Companies (1970), and an associate of the British Insti tute of Management (1970). He is a graduate of the British Insti tute of Marketing. A christian of the Anglican deno mination, Mr Akinbode has as his hob bies table tennis, lawn tennis, Ayo, gardening and music. Mr. Akinbode is" married with six children.
