Biography Entry: Born in Enagi in the Niger State of Nigeria in 1926, Hon. Alhaji Abdurrahamani Hassan Enagi is a member of the National Party of Nigeria from Lavun Constituency. His father, Mallam Hassan, is the village head in Enagi, while his mother is a devoted house wife. Alhaji Abdur rahamani is one of the eight' children of his parents. Young Abdurrahamani started school in 1934 at the elementary school, Kuligi. In 1938, he transferred to the Niger Middle school, Bida where he completed his elementary education. He then proceeded to the Bauchi Teachers Col lege in 1943 where he obtained a Teacher's Cer tificate Grade III after two year's course. Hon. Enagi then proceeded to the Katsina Higher Teachers College in 1949 where he ob tained a Teachers Certificate Grade II in 1952. He spent a brief period teaching in some primary and secondary schools, and was from 1955-59, the Headmaster of City Senior Primary School, Kano. The honourable member of the House of Representatives became the Bursar of the Pro vincial Secondary School, Kano (now Govern ment College) from 1959-62. In 1961, he gained admission to the Zaria In stitute of Administration, for a three months' course. At the end of the course, he obtained a Testimonial on Local Government and Person nel Management. Hon. Enagi became the Industrial Relations Officer in the Amalgamated Tin Mines of Nigeria in Plateau State from 1964-65. From 1966-69, he was the Welfare Officer to the United Nigeria Textiles, Kaduna.
