-EMIR OF KANO MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO Alhaji Ado Bayero was bom in 1930, son of the Emir of Kano Abdullahi Bayero. He is the 56* Traditional Ruler of Kano and the 1f Fulani Emir. He was turbaned in 1964 though was appointed in 1963 after the death of his unck,EmirMohammedInuwa. He attended the Gidan Sarki Elementary Schoolfrom 1939 to 1942 then Kano Middk School which later became the Schoolfor Arabic Studies between 1942 and 1949. When he finished, hejoined the Bank of British West Africa where he worked till 1955. He then transferred to the Kano Native Authority as an Accountant in the Distria Administration office. LaterAJhaji Ado Bayero obtained aCertificate in Public Administrationfrom the Ahmadu Belk University Zaria in 1958.
