Mr. Balogun has attended series of government management courses and has served as a member of the Lagos State Rent Control Tribunal - 1970- 76. Appointed supervisory Chairman of education committee Lagos Island Local Council. He is an executive member of the EgbeOmo Eko. He is married with five children
