PRESIDENT NACCIMA Alhaji Umaru Ndanusa was bom on December 31, 1946. He attended St Uke Primay School, Government Township School,Jos, Pankshin GovemmentBoardingSchoolandAcademyInstitute of Commerce,Jos, in thatorder all between 1953 and 1965. He ako attended tbe North Western State Staff Training Centre (now Sokoto State Polytechnic), between 1968 and 1969 andLasalk University, Uuisiana, USA. He was one of thefew Nigerians who made it in theprivate seaorwithout waitingforgovernment's assistance. After his education, he was appointed GeneralManager, Aliyu Ndanusa &Son Group of Companies in 1971. From there, he became the Managing Direaor of Niger North Umited (Building & Engineering Outfit), 1973; Chairman, National Trucks Manufarturing Company Umited, 1984-1986; Chairman/ Cofounder, Skypower ExpressAirways Umited, 1985; Chairman, KAL&KAYInsurance Brokers, 1989 to 1992; Direaor, FBN Merchant Bankers Umited, 1990-1992; Chairman, the Nigerian CoalMines Corporation; Chairman, Peugeot Automobik Nigeria Umited, Kaduna, 1990 to 1994; Chairman, Trippk Heritage Communications Umited, 1992 to 1995, Chairman, Orient Bank Pk, Chairman, Intercity Bank; Chairman, Bay Ventures; Chairman WIBOD Mine Umited; Vice Chairman, Atlas Petrokum International Umited; Member Governing Board, Development Poliy and Investment Climate Analysis, Co-Founder, Nuts Oil Umited; Founder, New Ventures Umited; Executive Member, NACCIMA, 1985; National Vice President, NACIMA, 1987 to 1994; Deputy National President, NACCIMA, 1996 to 1999. Today he is the President of the National Association of Chambers of Commence, Industries, Mines and Agriculture NACCIMA, the Organisation he had so fondly helped to nurture to maturity and profitability.
