was born in Kauru, Zaria Province in 1945. He is one of the 13 children of Alhaji Abubakar, a farmer of Kauru Village, and Hajiya Habiba Abubakar, a house wife. Alhaji Yunusa Abubakar won his seat to the House of Representatives on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria. He represents Chawai/Kauru Constituency in Kaduna State. He got married to his wife Mrs. Rosaline Oje on the 15th of May 1968. He is a father of five children. He attended the Ibo Union School, Kano, from 1960 to 1965 to obtain a Middle Two Certifiatein 1965. He studied privately and attended lectures from business organisations such as the Nigerian Institute of Management. All along he has been a businessman engag ing in small scale industries such as block mak ing and garri grinding.
