Mr. Musa Birnin Magaji Aliyu, an elected member, represents Kaura-Namoda Federal Constituency, Sokoto State. He was born in Birnin Magaji, Kaura Namoda in 1943. He attended Birnin Magaji Primary School, (1961—65); Kotorkushi Boarding Primary School, (1966-67); Maru Teachers' College (1968—72); and Danfodio University, Sokoto (1981-82). He is an Education Officer with Sokoto State Civil Service and a traditional title holder of Sarkin Fadan Nasarawa Godal of Kaura Namoda. He is married with ten children. His hobby is reading.
