Biographical overview
pioneer practitioner of environmental law in Nigeria, has been active over the last ten years in developing the legal, regulatory and policy framework for Nigeria and was largely responsible for the formation of the Nigerian Environmental Law Society. He is an international consultant to the UNDP on the environment. Has consulted for the Nigerian Ministry of Solid Minerals Development on a legal and regulatory framework for minerals development. Consultant to National Forum for Sustainable Development. Was on Technical Working Group of World Bank assisted project on development of Law on Response, Compensation and Liability for Environmental Damage in Nigeria. Member Revision Team on National Environmental policy, drafted National Agenda 21. Elected to Steering Committee of National Association of Environmental Consultants. Was a facilitator at US Eximbank capacity building services for West Africa in Project Finance Law. Soji was a national delegate appointed by the president of Nigeria to understudy the American lobby system.
