BABATUNDE, Michael Ojo

COMMISSIONER FOR EMPLOYMENT, ESTABLISHMENTS AND TRAINING who hails from Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti Central Local Government area of Undo State, was born to the late-Mr Fasuyi Baba tunde and Mrs Tinuola Babatunde, also deceased, on September29,1932. He attended St. George's School, Ado-Ekiti, from 1939-1947 when he obtained the First School Leaving Certificate. He proceeded to St. Augu stine's Elementary Teacher Training College, Akure, from 1950-1951 and was awarded the Grade 111 Teachers' Certificate. From 1957-58, ho was at St. Peter's Teacher Training College, Akure, wherehe qualified as a Grade 11 teacher. Full of educational ambition, Mr Banatunde entered the Rural Science Education College, Akure, in 1962and obtained the Teachers' Grade 1Certifi cate in Agriculture in 1963. Mr Baba tunde was offered a place at the Uni versity of ibadan in 1964 to pursue a programme which led to the award of the Teachers' Associateship Diploma in Education in June 1965. He later travelled to the United States of America and enrolled at Bishop's College, Dallas in Texas in 1972, moving in 1974 to North Texas State University, Denton, for anothei academic session.
