Elder Chief Chimaroke. Godwin Akonyiri is an elder stateman who is respected for his outstanding gift ofhonesty and sincerity in public and private affairs. People refer to him as a man ofintegrity and honour where ever they meet to discuss important issues. He is in high demand in any public gathering of people as he is always known to stand outright on the path ofrectitude and truth. His advice and direction on any issue are never ignored by both the old and young. His integrity and honesty had always stood out as Pillar of Light for the people to follow. BSc ( lions) London. 1961 Publications His published works include: • Economic Diplomacy for Foreign Policy for Nigeria ( 1988) • Cure of Diabetes and Hypertension:ANew Approach ( 1995) • Erosion Disertification etc MOUA, Umudike ( 1997 1998) GESA Report (1966). This report isbedrook on which the 6-3-3- 4 Educational Policy was based. Chief Chimaroke has successfully developed a cure or Regimes that cure Diabetes. Hypertension and strokes, using existing drugs. He championed the movement for the creation ofthe Isingwu Autonomous Community in 1980and ensured the system of installation ofthe Traditional Ruler ofthe Community by establishing a stable constitution which serves as a guide line for the selection and installation of the Monarch at the demise of a ruling King. Elder Chimaroke is a strong Christian. He was a Methodist before he joined the Zion Outreach Ministry where he is now an Ordained Elder of the Church.
