Hon. Durbawa represents Durbawa/Kware Constituency, Sokoto State, in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the Na tional Party of Nigeria. He was born on June 5, 1954 at Durbawa. His father, Alhaji Aliyu is a farmer and has fif teen children. Hon. Durbawa started his elementary educa tion at Durbawa Junior Primary School in 1960 and completed it at the Senior Primary School, Farfaru, Sokoto in 1967. For his post-primary school education he went to the Government Secondary School, Farfaru, Sokoto from 1968 - 1972 He then proceeded tothe Washington Business Institute, New York, in 1974 where he obtained a diploma in Business Administration in 1976. _ . He has visited the United Kingdom, Sudan, Canada and the U.S.A. Hon. Durbawa is a muslim and has two wives and two children. He is interested in games and reading.
