Ibadan, Diploma in Psychological Medicine D.P.M. and M.Sc. in Psychiatry - M.R.C. Phych., U.K., and fellow of the medical Council in Psychiatry — F.M.C., Psych. Nigeria; appoint ed senior registrar in Psychiatry, University College Hospital, Ibadan, 1969; lecturer in Psychiatry, Uni versity of Ibadan, 1970-71, senior lecturer and later assciate professor in mental health, University of Benin, 1972 to date; acting head of the Department of Mental Health, 1974 to date; was commissioner for health in the executive council of former Midwestern State, January 1972-July 1974 when he resigned; one time chairman of the Midwestern State Rural Electricity Board and director of the Midwest Pharmaceu tical Company Limited; currently adviser to the World Psychiatric Association on the History of Psy chiatry in Nigeria; presented many scientific and medical papers in professional journals and at confere nces, Married and has two children; Address (Home): Staff Quarters, University of Benin Teaching Hos pital, Benin City, Bendel State, (Office): Department of Mental Hea lth, University of Benin, Benin City, Hobby: table tennis and hockey.
