Mr. Johnson Ibingha Ebokpo was born on May 22, 1954 in his home town Ogada, Cross River State. He represents Obubra North Federal Constituency in the Assembly. He attended Presbyterian School, Ofrekpe 1960-1965 and St. Brendan's Secondary School, lyamoyong-Obubra, 1968-1972 before going to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1974 to read Sociology/An thropology. He graduated in 1978. Mr. Ebokpo later went to the University of Calabar to read Law. He graduated in 1986 and was called to the Bar in 1987. He is a legal practitioner and holds several positions in his community. He is married to Mrs. Margaret E. Ebokpo and they have four children. His hobbies are reading, writing, music and photography.
