She has worked with Punch, Post Express, Thisday, Saturday Independent and the Daily Sun in a career spanning 30 years. She is vocal about fair wages and the protection of journalists and was the head of secretariat of the International Press Institute (IPI). She is also a board member of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. In 2006. she was nominated by the United States Information Service to cover the US mid-term elections.
