Secretary to Anambra State Govern ment, Mr. Paul C.N. Egbogu, was born on February 5, 1935. He comes from Nkanu Local Government area. Mr. Egbogu had his primary school education at St. Mary's Catholic Sch ool, Port Harcourt from 1942 to 1948, and proceededto Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt where he spent five years from 1949 to 1953. He passed the Cambridge School Certificate Examination in Division Two. He read law at the University of London from 1963 to 1966 and left there successfully with the LL.B. degree. He was later called to the British Bar and also to the Nigerian Bar in 1973. Mr. Egbogu has held several public posts in Anambra State. He was Commissioner for Establishments^ 1977-78. Later in 1978, Education and Information were added to his portfolio and by the end of that year after a cabinet reshuffle, he became the Commissioner for Local Govern ment and Deputy Chairman of the State Executive Council. Mr. Egbogu is married with five children.
