Honourable Tom. Ubiokpo Bluf Egbuwoku was born on 1st October, 1940 at Emede in Isoko Local Government Area. He was influenced by the exemplary happy married life of his parents. His late father Mr. Egbuwoku Ogor was a farmer and trader from Emede, and his mother Madam Umukoro Egbuwoku also from Emede — a farmer and community worker. They have four children. He started his elementary school at the C.M.S. School, Emede where he received his First School Leaving Certificate in 1956. He went to S.M.S. School Bomadi/Oleh from 1957tt>\3g&. Finally in 1964 he entered the University of Ibadan and graduated B.Sc (Honours) Economics in 1967. He worked as a Collector at the Board of Customs and Excise, Lagos from 1967 to 1968. Later, he went to work at the Central Bank as an Economist from 1968 to 1975. He was the Group General Manager of Tuoyo/Marine factories, later Managing Direc tor/Chairman of Tombiz from 1975 to 1979. He was also the Director, Bendel Cinema Board from 1978 to 1979. He married Mrs. Emily E. Egbuwoku in August 1968.and they have seven children. Honourable T.U.B. Egbuwoku has travelled widely in Europe and in America. His main hob bies are sguash and billiard. He is the Unity Party of Nigeria member for Isoko Constituency, Bendel State, in the House of Representatives. He is also the Chief Whip of the U.P.N, in the House of Representatives. In community affairs, he is the President, Isoko Community, Lagos.
