GUTUWA, Hon Philip Ahmad

PHILIP AHMAD GUTUWA, born 1962, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency of Adamawa State, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Philip Ahmad Gutuwa attended Government Secondary School and sat for the General Certificate Examination in 1982. He proceeded to the Kaduna Polytechnic where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in 1993. Philip Gutuwa worked in the local government from 1983, where rose to the position of the Local Government Treasurer. He was later appointed a commissioner in Adamawa State. In the year 2015, he was elected as a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency of Adamawa State. Gutuwa’s legislative interest, lies in making legislations on matters that relates to state and local government, federal character, power, water resources, works, federal capital territory etc. Philip always strives to submit bills that will drive benefit to his people.
