OGUNSIJI, HON. Adetunji Odebode

Hon. Adetunji Odebode Ogunsiji was born at Abeokuta, Ogun State on July 6, 1932. His father, Mr. Alabi Oguntola Ogunsiji, a farmer and a trader as well as his mother, Mrs. Tolani Adeoti Ogunsiji havesixchildren. He got married in March 1958 to former Miss Nuratu Abeke Jatto. The marriage is blessed with four children. Hon. Ogunsiji attended Agbeni Methodist School, Ibadan between 1938 to 1939. He was at the N. A. Durbar School, Oyo from 1940 to 1941. He also studied at the Ebenezer School, Oke Padi, Ibadan from 1941 to 1943. Again, from 1944 to 1948 he attended the Ibadan Boys High School, Ibadan but later moved to llesha Grammar School from 1950 to 1952. His thirst for knowledge propelled him to study law at the Inner Temple, London from 1961 to 1964. He returned home in 1964 and at tended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. Hon. Ogunsiji had worked with the U.A.C. of Nigeria in Lagos and also the Land Registry, Lagos. He was a Councillor with the Odeda Local Government in Ogun State. A devoted Muslim, Hon. Ogunsiji has visited Britain, India, United States of America, Egypt and some other countries. He is a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria and represents Odeda constituency, Ogun State in the House of Representatives.
