OMOLE, Hon. Babatunde

Honourable Babatunde Omole won the elec tion to the House of Representatives as a UPN member from Ibadan West Federal Constituen cy. He was born on December 10, 1924 at Ogbomosho. He is a christian and his parents have nine children. Honourable Omole had hs education at St. Peter's Primary Schoo, Aremo, Ibadan, and at the Abeokuta Grammar School, from 1939 to 1944. He attended the Regent Street Polytechnic, London in 1960. An Associate member of the British Institute of Manage ment, Honourable Omole is also a product of Syracuse University U.S.A., (1965). Before coming into politics, he has served among others, as Editor, Nigerian Tribune in the early fifties, Marketing Manager Western Nigerian Development Corporation, General Manager, Wrought Iron (Nig.) Limited, Ikeja, and as Executive Chairman, Board of Directors, Phoenix Engineering Company Limited. He married his wife, Emma Olayinka, in 1953 and they have five children. Honourable Babatunde Omole has visited the UK, USA, Italy and Camerouns.
