FALU, Hon. Barnabas

was born in Guyuk, Gongola State, in 1933. Born in to a christian family of Mr. Daklige and Madam Dabalo, Hon. Barnabas himself a christian, was influenced at the early life by the christian way of life par ticularly that aspect that relates to simplicity, human understanding and commonsense. With his education being deeply rooted in tradition and christian teaching, Hon. Barnabas Falu began his career as a preacher, farmer and trader especially in cereals and cattle. Furthermore, Hon. Barnabas is also a local politician and his political inclination became manifested when he joined the Unity Party of Nigeria on whose platform he was elected into the House of Representatives in 1979 to repre sent the Guyuk Constituency of Guyuk Local Government of Gongola State. Married with twelve children, Hon. Barnabas has travelled to neighbouring countries such as Republic of Benin and Cameroun. His hobby in cludes dancing.
