Hon. Folorunso Akinbisehin was born at lle- Oluji, Ondo State on June 26, 1934. His father, Isiah Williams Adeniyi Akinbisehin, a produce and transport magnate, comes from lle-Oluji while his mother, Mrs. Marian Akinbesehin, a trader, comes from Ipogun. They both have 14 children. A devoted christian, Hon. Akinbisehin mar ried former Miss Olajumoke Atinosolo Oladunjoye in April, 1960. Mrs. Akinbisehin is a nurse by profession and they both have four children. Hon. Akinbisehin attended St. Peters School, lle-Oluji between 1938 - 1940 and 1944 and 1946. He was at St. Lukes' School, Oke-lgbo from 1941 to 1943 and Ondo Boys' High School from 1948 to 1950. He also attend ed the Oduduwa College, lle-lfe in 1951 and 1952. He attended the University of London from 1960 to 1962, and obtained his Barristerat- Lawdegree in May1972. Hon. Akinbisehin was a Customs Officer before he became a legal Practitioner. He was the Legal Director of Henry Stephens Group of Companies. . . His mother influenced him greatly in his early life. He takes keen interest in swimming, tennis and reading. ' He has travelled widely to the United Kindom, U.S.A., France, Western Germany, Brazil, Philipines, India, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sweden and Netherlands. He is a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria and represents Ifesowapo Constituency in On do State in the House of Representatives.
