Hon. Garba Gizori is a member of the Great Nigeria Peoples' Party and he represents Tanbawal Constituency, Sokoto State in the House of Representatives. He was born in 1939 at Tanbawal and he is of the muslim faith. His parents, Mala Abubakar Tanbawal, a farmer and Madam A'isa Abubakar Tanbawal, had four children. They both died when he was very young. For a living, he was at one time a commercial lorry driver before he became a trader. He has two wives, Tumba and A'lsa Garba, and four children.
