TAMBARI, Hon. Garba M.

Honourable Garba M. Tambari was born in Maradun on December 31, 1957. His father, Alhaji Mohammed Tambari, a district Head, who was born in 1914 and has a total of 40 children. His mother, Hajia Zali, who was born in 1936 has six children. He married former Miss Rabi Garba in 1977. They have one child named Mohammed Lawal who was born on May 22, 1980. He attended Maradun Primary School from 1964 to 1971, and Government College, Sokoto from 1972 to 1976. He was a Commercial Supervisor at the Gusau Agricultural Development Project, Gusau in Sokoto State. A devoted Muslim, Honourable Tambari has published a book entitled "Duniya Tunbin Giwa". He has visited America, Germany, Britain, U.S.S.R.and India. Koranic School influenced him in his early life. He is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Maradun Constituency, Sokoto State, in the House of Representatives.
