represents Mayo — Belwa Constituency, Gongola State, in the House of Representatives and won'his seat on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria. He was born at Kufuru in April 1943, one of the eight children of Mr. Gambo, a farmer and Mrs. Jaran Gambo. Hon. Hassan Gambo started his education at the Nassarawa Jereng Junior Primary School in 1955 and finished up at the Jada Senior Primary School in 1961. He later attended the Numan Teachers' College from 1962 to 1966 and the School of Agriculture, Samaru, Zaria, from 1968 to 1970 and from 1972 to 1976. He first taught for a year, from 1967 to 1968, and then worked as an Agricultural Superinten dent from 1977 to 1978 and Higher Agricultural Superintendent from 1978 to 1979. He is married to two wives, Najen Hassan and Audi Hassan. They have four children. Hon. Gambo is a christian and has visited the Republic of Cameroun and Niger Republic. He enjoys farming and swimming.
