Honourable I. A. Adejare was born on 25th March, 1925. He represents Ede North Consti tuency of Oyo State in House of Represen tatives, as a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria. After his elementary education, Honourable Adejare attended Baptist College, Ede from 1942 to 1946. He was a student of the Universi ty of London between 1962 and 1965. From 1966 to 1967, Honourable Adejare was at the Howard University and from 1967 to 1968, he was at the University of Michigan. In 1969, he went to the Hague Academy of International Law. Having successfully passed through the Nigerian Law School in 1965, he was enrolled at the Bar. Honourable Adejare holds the Grade II Teachers Certificate. 1964, Grade I Teacher's Certificate, LL.B. (Hons.) London 1965, M.C.J., Howard 1967, LL.M (Michigan) 1968, and a Diploma of the Hague Academy of Inter national Law. Honourable Adejare was a teacher at Baptist College, Iwo between 1947 and 1948, Baptist College, Ede, 1949 - 1953, Headmaster, Bap tist Practising School, Ede, 1954 — 1960 and from 1969 to 1972 he was a legal practitioner in Chief F.R.A. Williams' Chambers. Between 1972 and 1979, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Nigerian Law School, resigning his appoint ment in 1979 to participate in political activities. Married to Mrs. Ayoola Adejare on December 20, 1956, Honourable Adejare has two children. He has travelled widely to the United Kingdom, U.S.A., Israel, the Netherlands, Western Germany, France, Romania and Korea. A member of the former Western Nigeria House of Assembly from 1952 to 1956, Honourable Adejare also served in the Consti tuent Assembly from 1977 to 1978.
