Honourable Musa Gammo was born in 1946 at Gammo in Gwarazo Local Government Area of Kano State. He is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Kabo Consti tuency in the Federal House of Represen tatives. He is one of the 35 children of Mallam Adamu, a farmer from Gammo village. His mother, Ummai — Hais, from Kano City, has eight children. He attended the Gwarzo Elementary School from 1956 to 1960 and Gwarzo Senior Primary School from 1960 to 1963. Between 1967 and 1968, he was at the Kano Emergency Training School. On the completion of his training, he was employed by the Ministry of Works as a clerk. He attended the Staff Training Centre from 1972 to 1973. Mallam Musa Gammo obi tained his primary seven school certificate in 1963 and the Staff Training Certificate in 1968. Since he left school in 1968, he had worked throughout in the Ministry of Works and Hous ing. He had no promotion since he was employed in 1969 till he retired in 1979. Mallam Gammo is married to A'ishatu Musa. They got married in 1973 and now have two children. His hobbies include farming and reading, especially of historical events. Honourable Musa Gammo is a muslim.
