OLAGUNJU, Hon. Rufus Ariyo

Hon. Rufus Ariyo Olagunju was born on October 1, 1934 at Supare, Akoko South, Ondo State. He is a christian and his father Mr. Olokususi Fagoke Olagunju has sixteen children. f For his primary education, he attended the Salvation Army Primary School, Supare and Jubilee Central School, Ikare between 1940 — 1947. Later, he proceeded to Ondo Boys' High School, Ondo which he left in 1953. Once a telegraphist at the Ministry of Com munications, Lagos, Honourable Olagunju was called to the Bar at the Lincoln's Inn, London in 1965. He returned home and established a private legal practice from 1966 — 1977. Honourable Olagunju left his thriving chambers from public life as a member of the Constituent Assembly. And with the lifting of the banon politics, hewas elected on the ticket of the Unity Party of Nigeria to represent Akoko South, Ondo State in the Houso of Ropreson- Hon. Olagunju married former Miss Folake Adedeji in 1966 and they have six children. Countries he has visited include the United Kingdom, France, Ghana and Sierra Leone.
