He had a brilliant academic record in Nigeria before leaving for the United States to study in theprestigious Harvard University. His life wasshort intheSenate but itwasfull of great achievements. He was one of the most intellectually sound and professionally trained Senators of his own time.A resolute and meticulous strategist, his death was a great loss to the country. Education Senator Iwiiagwu has a brilliant spell in Nigeriaat the primary and secondary school before leaving for the United States of America. • Harvard University. Camb. Massachusetts B. A Econ. MA. • He was a doctoral student. Job Experience An accomplished technocrat- he had several appointments at the Federal Level before being elected into the Senate. • Joined the Peoples Democratic Party • Won Election into the Senate to represent Imo East Federal Constituency. • Appointed Special Assistant to the Hon. Minister of Finance , • Policy Adviser to the Head of State • Member of the NEPA Technical Board • Member PIMCO ( State House Abuja) I is legislative contributions werecentred on the areas of Budgeting and Finance. Constitutional and Economic Reforms and he was properly focused on National Economic Growth, Political Stability as a result of formulation and implementation of progressive policy and economic reforms. Senator Amah Iwuagvvu was married with two children. Fie died in 2005 barelytwo years into his four year term. May his soul rest in peace.
