He attended Rural Education Course Bauchi, Qualifications: Grades 111, 11 and 1 Teacher's Certificates; Career: Classroom Teacher and headmaster for twelve years; Resigned in 1968 to become Private Businessman; formerly Director of Tangale Waja Trading Company, Kaltunge, 1968-74; later became member of the Tangale Waja Local Government in 1977; Mallam Waye is married with children. He was conferred with the traditional title of Garkuwan Kaltunge on January 12, 1979; He was.electedinto the Bauchi State House of Assembly under the banner of the National Party of Nige ria in the Tangale-Waja Central Consti tuency.
