MADUGU, Dr. Jonah

Dr. Jonah Madugu represents Barkin Ladi Federal Constituency of Plateau State. He hails from Gashish in Plateau State and was born in 1946. Dr. Madugu attended St. Peter's College Kaduna, between 1960 and 1967. After leaving St. Peter's College, Kaduna, he went to the Advanced Teachers' College, Zaria in 1973. He later gained admission to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated in 1976. He obtained a master's degree from the University of Jos in 1980. Between 1982 and 1984, Dr. Madugu was at the University of Wales, England where he obtained a Doctorate Degree. is the current Provost of the College of Education, Akwanga and was a one-time Secretary of the Plateau State Scholarship Board between 1984 and 1986. He is married with nine children and his hobbies are reading and swimming.
