Born September 11, 1912, at Awa, Ijebu, Education: Wesley Teachers College, Iba dan, Teacher's Higher Elementary Cer tificate, 1933-36; Higher College, Yaba (Science Teacher's Coure) 1939-43; with Teacher's Higher Elementary Certificate, ScienceTeacher's Diploma and Inter B.Sc. (Pure Science). Univer sity of London, taught English, Mathe matics and Scienceat Wesley College, Ibadan, 1937-39, 1944-47 and Metho dist Boys High School, Lagos, 1948-50. Studied Law at I ondon School of Economics and Political Science, and Lincoln's Inns, London, 1951-53; gra duated LL.B. in 1953 and called to English Bar 1956; practised law 195759; joined Western Nigeriacivil service as Administrative Officer, 1959-73; and retired as Deputy Permanent Se cretary, 1973. Elected UPN member for Ijebu North in House of Representatives.
