MAMVEN, Sindir Jefferson

Dr. Sindir Jefferson Mamven is a nominated member of the Assembly. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Langtang, Plateau State. He started his early education at Middle School and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1952. He finished his secondary school education before going to the Kano School of Medicine in 1958. Between 1969 and 1970, he was at the Lon don School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has held important positions both within and outside the public service. He was a one-time Secretary to the Military Government and Head of Service, Plateau State. Chairman, Plateau Industrial Development Authority and Kaduna Hotels. Dr. Mamven was also a member of the Constitution Review Committee in 1987. He is married and blessed with five children. His hobbies are football, lawn tennis and evening walk.
