MUHAMMADU LADAN BODINGA

Hon. Alhaji M. L. Bodinga, a muslim by faith, was born at Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto State. He attended Bodinga Town Primary School from 1951 to 1954 and later proceeded to Sokoto Senior Primary School, Farfaru, Sokoto from 1955 to 1957. Alhaji Bodinga joined the Sokoto Native Authority Police Force in 1961 and in 1963 he went to the Kaduna Police College for a six months course. In 1969, he left the police force and joined the Ministry of Health, Sokoto, as hospital assistant from 1970 to 1977. After resigning from the Ministry of Health in 1978, he became self-employed as a contractor. He is married and has four children. His next of kin is Muhammadu"Kabir. He has visited Niger Republic and his hobbies include reading and social gathering. He is a member of the National Party of Nigeria and presents Bodinga consistency sokoto state in the House of Representative.
