was born on March 27th, 1945 at Aloce, Akun Local Government Coun cil. He attended St. Patrick's Primary School Aloce and the St. John Vianney's Seminary, Barakin Ladi, where he completed his studies in 1963. He read Philosophy and Theology at the SS. Peter and Paul Major Seminary ' Ibadan between 1964-70. He later got his Bachelor, Master's and Doctorate Degrees in Theology from the Ponti- ' tical Urban University, Rome. Besides ..his B.Sc. he also holds a Master's Degree, (M.Sc. Social Science), from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas Rome. In addition to these Degrees, Dr. Nagba has a Post Graduate Dip loma in Social Development, conduc ted under the auspices of the Inter national Centre for Social Training and Action Developing Regions (CESTA), in conduction with the Specialists of the Food and Agricultural Organisa tion of the United Nations (FAO), Rome. He also obtained a Certificate in Islamology (Certificate d'lslamogie) from the Institute Pontifical D'Etudes Arabes, Rome. He was ordained Cathohc Priest in 1970. From 1970, he held a number of posts besides his clerical work. He was acting Diocesan Secretary, Diocese of Jos, acting Project Secretary, Diocese of Jos, Education Secretary, Diocese of Jos and Director of Religious Education, Diocese of Jos. He also represented the then Akwanga Local Government Council Area in the Constituent Assembly, which wrote the present Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Unitl his present appoint ment he was a member of the Plateau State Scholarships Board and the Principal, St. John Vianny's Seminary, Barakin Ladi. He was appointed Commissioner on October 9th, 1979.
