(NPP) is a native of Obuofia in Awkunanaw and is House member for Nkanu West Constituency. He was born in 1940. The Hon. member retired voluntarily from the Federal Public Service in 1976 and was the Chairman of Nkanu Local Government Council which post he resigned to contest election. He holds the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree of the Univeristy of Lagos and the Diploma in Public Administration of the University of Pittsburgh, Pensylvania, U.S.A. He is married with three children.
