(England) 1972; became hon. fellow. Royal Society of Tropical Medicine, 1972 and associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management, 1976; served as medical officer, General Hospital, Port Harcourt, September 1972 to April 1973; appointed resident senior medical officer in September 1974; was member, Rivers State Scholarship Board, 1973-75 and Rivers State Nursery Schools Authority, 1974-75; vice-chairman, Rivers State Amateur Athletic Association, 1975- 76 and honorary coach to the association, 1974-75; author of more than a dozen booklets, including "Family Planning and the Rivers Culture", "Public Health Services" and "The role of Home Economists in Present Day Nigerian Homes", Married and has two sons; Address: Health Services Department, College of Science and Technology, P.M.B. 5080, Port Harcourt, Rivers State; Hobby: sports, book-binding.
