Born in 1944, in Ndumayi, Sardauna Local Government Area, Gongola State. Education: Cameroun Baptist Mission School, Ntong 1951-54; Cameroun Baptist Mission School, Mbem, 1955-58. Work experience: In various employments 1959-61; attended Teacher Training College, Mubi, 1962-66; teacher and headmaster of various schools in the area, 1967-75; promoted Schools' Officer, 1975-77. Appointed Supervisory Councillor for Education; Health and Social Services in Sardauna Local Govt. Area, 1977-79. Married with nine children. Elected GNPP member for Takum in House of Repre sentatives.
