In spite of her highly exalted position in the public service, she remains calm and humble and above all a committed Christian lady and a caring mother, married to Dr. Evaristus Chukwudi Offiah. a medical doctor with the Enugu Slate Hospital Management Board and the marriage is blessed with two boys and four girls. Born on 20"' July. 1953. She hails from Uwani Amokwe Town in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu Stale. Education and Qualifications Obtained • Queens School. Enugu WASC. • University of Nigeria. Enugu Zone. • Chairperson, FSP Enugu State Joint Committee on HTP, 1997-1999. • Chairperson, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) 1998-2002. Member. Committee on Revision of Enugu State High Court Rules. 2004-2005. • Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice. Enugu State. 1994-1997. under the regime of the following Military Administrators: Navy Captain Temi Ejoor, Colonel Mike Torrey and Colonel Sule Ahman. Honourable Offiah runs her legal practice under A.J. Offiah and Co and Mogboh, Offiah and Co. She is the incumbent Chairman, Nigeria Bar Association. Enugu Branch. Membership of Learned and Professional Bodies • Member. International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigerian Representative on the Co-ordinating Committee. African Women Lawyers Associations (AWLA). • Member. Enugu Slate Justice Reform Team. She is a committed Catholic who has Christ as her Role Model.
