Born on June 18, 1960 in Okwe. Onuimo (Formerly in Okigwe ) Imo State. His Sports Career started from Okigwe National Secondary School and Alvan Ikoku College of Education where h captained the both teams. Dr. Ogu's activism and love for sports, as the bedrock for talent discovery earned him the nickname. "Mr. Grass roots". He has remained a consistent player in the sporting field, helping to nurture fresh talents. Dr. Geoffrey is industrious and totally committed towards school sports development in the state. He possesses appreciable positive attitude to work with speedy and quality service delivery.
