He attended Government College, Ibadan from 1968 to 1974 and later, University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he obtained the LL.B (Hons) in 1979. Mr. Ogunkeye is a member of the Rotary Club, Ibadan, He is married with two children, a boy and a girl. His main hobby is squash. Mr. Ogunkeye is a legal practitioner.
