- He held many positions in the University of Nigeria including, Head of Anatomy, Associate Dean of Medicine, Dean of Medicine and Deputy Vice Chancellor and Head of Enugu Campus of UNN.
He is the author of Geographical Neurosurgery, the First On-Line Book of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons USA as well as numerous Chapters in Books, Scientific Journals and Conference Proceedings. He is the Pioneer President of the African Federation of Neurosurgical Societies from 2007.
He has extensive experience in surgery of tumours of the brain and spinal cord and Spinal Surgery including Spinal Instrumentation.
