Mr. Jonathan Welborn S. Oki was born on the 27th of February, 1933" in Patani, Bendel State. He is an elected member from Bomadi Federal Constituency, Bendel State. He passed the Preliminary Teachers' Course in 1951, the Elementary Teachers' Course in 1957 and the Higher Elementary Course in 1962. Mr. Oki obtained B.A. (Ed.) in 1967 and M.Ed, in 1980. He is a retired school principal. He is married with five children, four boys and a girl. His hobbies are music and reading.
