Born in September 1941 at Amelu Okposi in Ohaozara Local Government area; He was educated at the Obioha Primary School," Okposi; Boys' Voca tional School, Ididep, Itu; St Thomas College, Ogoja; the University of Nigeria, Usukka and the Nigerian Law" School, Lagos where he had his LL.B. Hons. degree and B.L. respectively; He taught for 14 years, 1953-66; He set up a legal practice in 1973 and was in it till his election into the House; He has held the following posts: President Obaozara Divisional Co-operative Council; Board member, Imo State Co-operative Financing Association Limited, 1976 till date; Director, Imo State Agricultural Development Corporation; Councillor, Ohaozara Local Government, 1977-79; Mr. Okor's hobby is farming; He is married and has two children; In his philosophy, he believes that fortune favours the brave.
