SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT Professor Christopher Sunday Olais a man of many parts. He is a lawyer, chartered accountant, chartered secre tary, economist and a distinguished scholar. To many people he is better known as a former administrator in the civil service, where he functioned as an internationally acclaimed expert in taxation until he voluntarily retired in 1977. He made substantial contribu tions to the innovations which have enabled the governments throughout the country to increase their rate of tax collection.
