OLOJEDE, Dele

Mr. Olojede is a veteran Journalist and a former Editor at Newsday. He has reported from more than 50 countries and his work has appeared in more than 150 publications around the world. Mr. Olojede is the first African-born winner of the Pulitzer Prize, and also a patron of the Etisalat Prize for Literature. Mr. Olojede was the publisher of NEXT newspapers which, for an exhilarating five years in the mid-2000s, sought to demonstrate the centrality of an incorruptible media to a democratic society beset by rapacious elites.
