Edu cation: Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary Sch ool, Alakoro, Lagos; United Middle School, Tamale, Gold Coast (Ghana); Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Isolo (195458); Lagos Centre for Higher Studies (1959-60) passed GEC "0" Level exam in 1960; course in "Office Supervisor and Management" at Col lege of Technology, Yaba. Work Experience: clerk, Lagos Town Council, 1958-62, Employee Relations Asst., Esso West Africa Incorporated 196468; attended courses in personal managerment and industrial relations sponsored by Esso; nominated to contest for Oba of Lagos stool in 1964 by the Olusi Royal Family; Executive member banned Action Group 1962-66; elected to Lagos Town Council 1962-65; re-elected into L.T.C. which became Lagos City Council 1965-66; appointed member Lagos City Council Caretaker Committee, 1972-76;elected unopposed into the Lagos Island Local Government 1976-79; Organising Secretary, Lagos State Arts Council 1971-74; Member of Board of Governors, Muslim Teacher Training College 1962-65; chairman, Lagos Island Adult Educa tion Committee; General Secretary, UPN Lagos Island Chapter; married with three children; elected UPN member foi Lagos South Constituency in the House of Representatives.
